It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Jackson of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband E. S. "Bert" Jackson; her son Jim Jackson; and her brothers, Richard Thames, Abe Thames and Eugene Thames.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Jackson White (David); her grandchildren, Jason Jackson, Matthew White, Austin White (Rachel), SaraBeth White, Jennifer White, Samantha White, Bella White and Brayden White; and her great grandchild Carolyn White. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
