Marcella Kay Mears Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella Kay Mears of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clayton Searcy and Elsie Mae Rodgers Searcy; her brother Terry Searcy; her grandson Carson; and her husband Robert Mears.

She is survived by: her sons, Brandon Mears (Rebecca) of Athens, AL and Robin Mears (Heather) of Murfreesboro, TN; her siblings, Ronald Searcy (Ruth) of Orlinda, TN, Joy Jenkins (Kenneth) of Orlinda, TN, Beverly Lewis (Roger) of Orlinda, TN and Janet Smith (David) of Cedar Hill, TN; and her grandchildren, Meghan, Morgan, Chloe, Ava, Chase, Grayson and Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
