He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Garner and Myrtle Bassham Garner; and his wife Alice Reba Garner. He is survived by: his daughter Sharon O'Connor (Fred) of Athens; his sisters, Mildred Chapman and Alice Daniel; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Nadia and Sean O'Connor.
