He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Young Sr. and Lottie Higgins Young; his wife Diane Young; and his granddaughter Jessica Morrow. He is survived by: his children, Beth Rose (Charlie), Patricia Woods (Rick) and Mike Young (Mary Beth); his grandchildren, Heather Balcerek (Jay), Brian Young, John Thomas Young (Margaret), Trent Young, Shane Morrow, Chase Rose and Julia Rose; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Young and Alice Young.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to The American Diabetes Association, The American Cancer Society, or the Athens-Limestone Animal Shelter.
