She was predeceased by : her father Gerald Randy Fossett. She is survived by : her mother Elizabeth Bailey Fossett of Athens, Alabama; her sister Melanie F. Varnell (Thomas O. Varnell) of Orange Beach, Alabama; her nephews, Paul W. Varnell (Celia Herreros) of Culver City, California and William T. Varnell (Rebekah) of Harvest, Alabama; and her great-niece Elizabeth G. Varnell.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at the Roselawn Cemetery.
