She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert John Kerr and Geraldine McSherry Kerr; her daughter Gwendolyn; and her sisters, Virginia and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her husband Dean Steele Sr.; and her children, Dean Steele Jr., Douglas Steele and Nannette Bedi (Thomas). She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
