She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Williams and Lucy Ann Parker Williams; and her husband David Edward Burt. She is survived by: her children, Diane Gilliam (Steve) of Athens, David Burt of Vinemont and Kay Rittenberry (John) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Craig Gilliam (Stephanie), Jason Gilliam (Bethany), Heather Meredith (Jarron Tooter), Brad Adams, Melissa Drawbond (Daniel), Julia Fenner (Jerome), Nicholas Burt, Matthew Burt, Bobby Burt and Jessica Heimon (Keith); and her brothers, Gene Williams (Betty) and David Williams (Linda). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Limestone County, where Mrs. Burt had the privilege of being served.
