He is survived by: his wife Leigh Elders; his children, James Caleb Elders (Ari) and Anna Grace Elders; his grandchildren, Jayden Brown, Deklin Elders and Nolan Elders; and his siblings, Tommy Elders (PeeWee), Teresa Hasting and Vickie Watson.
