He is survived by: his wife RaeTerry Newby; his children, Nic Swader (Katelyn), Austin Rodgers (Lori), Kim Newby, Katelin Newby (James) and Isabel Newby; his sister Ann Newby Wood; and his grandchildren, Kai Newby, Sage Newby, Eli Rodgers, Leia Rodgers, Duncan Rodgers and Jackson Swader. He is also survived by his family dearly, especially his children and grandchildren.
