It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Anna Palmer (Athens, Alabama), who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Jones and Florence Jones; her daughter Kelly Thames (Boyd); her grandchildren, Catherine Thames McKinney (Brett), Boyd Mason Thames, Jr. and Preceding; and her husband Jack Palmer.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to First United Methodist Church.
