She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Black and Berta Cowart Black; and her sons, Donald Smith and Gary Smith. She is survived by: her husband Herley L. Naylor; her children, Ronald Smith (Ruby Jr.), Larry Smith (Carolyn), Deborah Dobbs (Paul), Darlene Gatlin (Danny), Jerry Naylor (Gwen), Allen Naylor, Joyce (Jody) and Sibley (Lanier); her daughter-in-law Anner Mae Smith; her sisters, Edith Birdwell, Sherry Scruggs and Arlene Embody; and her close friend Linda Black. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
