She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Reathea Vincent Laxson; her husband Norbert J. Singer; her daughter Candice Diaz; and her siblings, Melvin Laxson, Clifton "Shorty" Laxson, John Laxson, Marion Laxson, Joe Laxson, Arlene Pressnell and Faye Cox.
She is survived by: her son Bruce Singer (Gail); her siblings, Mahlon Laxson and Linda Carter (Donald W.); her grandchildren, Adam Singer, Caitiln Diehl and Elizabeth Peyton; and her great grandchild Rhett Diehl. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Singer requested that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Athens Limestone County Animal Shelter.
