It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ruth Chambers of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Putman and Anna Belle McCluskey; her husband Lakeon Clifford Chambers; and her son-in-law Anthony Anderson. She is survived by: her children, LaMerle Anderson and Earl Chambers (Sheree); and her grandchildren, Haley Chambers, Josh Chambers, DeWayne Daniel, Rebecca Murphy (Shannon), Jessie Ziegler (Cary), David Daniel (Heather), LaShay McCoy (Alan) and Andrew Slatton Stephen Guthrie (Liane). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
