He is survived by: his son Caleb Colwell; his grandson Case Williams Anderson; and his siblings, Randy Colwell (Yvonne), Ray Colwell (Tonya), Jennifer Sellers (Rod), Gail Allen (Mickey), Ella Melvin (Russell), Jimbo Colwell (Regina), Sonya Cottingham and Joey Colwell (Caroline).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
