She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Jones and Marvelene Hamlin Jones; her husband Vince Wright; and her granddaughters, Chasidy Thompson and Tiffany Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Thompson (DeWayne), Brandy Gainer (Kevin) and Jeremy Patterson (Erin); and her siblings, Sharon Hicks (Donnie), Buck Jones (Missy), Charles Payne, Gail Melton (J. D.), Barbara Pigg, Pam Carter and Kathy Kelly (Jackie). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
