He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline McConnell; and his stepfather James Edward McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Wilson; his children, Edward "Eddie" Wilson (Sharon) and Deanna Carr (Tommy); and his half-siblings, James Patrick McConnell and Debra McConnell Gatewood.
