Tyrone E. Ney Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 14, 2023, at the age of 81, Tyrone E. Ney of Athens, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ney and Charlotte Burns; his stepfather Lowell Burns; and his stepbrother Butch Burns. He is survived by: his son Lonnie (Loudean Burch); his close friend Patricia Clark; his children, Morgan "Rusty" Ney (Page) and Kimberly Ney (Paul Walsh); his stepsister Janie Burns-Goad (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Matthew Blevins (Kelsey) and Lacey Elrod (Justin); his great grandchildren, Maxon Machmuller Elrod and Coco Elrod; his grandchildren, Megan (Steven), Melanie, Meredith and Jillian Clark; Kenneth Clark (Beth) and Gary Clark (Emily).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warriors or the American Heart Association.
