It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicki Lynnette Cook of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Meadows and Mary Dean Lynn Meadows; and her sister Connie Gossett. She is survived by: her husband Henry Cook; her children, Matthew Cook and Carrie Cook; her sisters, Patricia Croley and Donna Chittam; her brother-in-law Sam Gossett; and her aunt Katherine Isom. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
