He was predeceased by: his son Daryl Wayne; his parents, W. T. (Lora Harvell) and North of Alabama; and his siblings, Charles Harvell and Gwendolyn Turner (James).
He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Tameron Harvell, Tallulah and Kimberly Hitchcock (Thomas); his grandchild Taylor Tabulog (Nick); his children, Danielle Hitchcock and Trey Harvell (Christina); and his grandchildren, Wayne, Willow, William and Wendy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wayne Harvell scholarship at Freed-Hardeman University*, or the City of Ardmore Public Library**—causes that reflect Wayne's lifelong devotion to faith, education, and community service.
