With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Phillips of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reeder Phillips and Osie Phillips (Ezell). He is survived by: his wife Abbie Phillips; his sister Sherry Comer; his children, Serena Owsley (Charles) and Kendell Phillips (Bonita); his grandchildren, Allison Patterson (Heath), Rachel Laxson (Jared), Brooke Pool (Taylor), Klaire Moore (Adam), Will Phillips (Mallory) and Jonathan Owsley; and his great grandchildren, Hayes, Wells, Brooks Patterson, Mary Gail, Madeline Laxson, Emerson, Addie Pool, Kendell Rae, Ty Moore and Alaina Klaire Phillips.
