William leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew William will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Robinson and Ella Robinson; and his wife Brenda Robinson. He is survived by: his sons, Chuck Robinson (Haley) of Athens and Chris Robinson (Jennifer) of Athens; and his grandchildren, Chase Robinson (Alyssa), Luke Robinson (Anslee), Claire Ball (Austin), Tyde Robinson (Maddie), Kelsey Robinson, Zack Freeman (Savannah) and Nick Freeman. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Lindsay Lane Baptist Church (1300 Lindsay Ln S, Athens, AL 35613-2708). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611).
