He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Willie and Lorene Yates Fleming; and his siblings, Norene Webster and Vernon Fleming. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Hammonds Fleming; his children, Christy Fleming, Becky Fleming, Staci Shankles (Gerald) and Scott Ridgeway; his grandchildren, Nicholas Waldrop (Amanda), Jade Sutphin, Austin Ferguson, Harley Winsett (Cody), Cole Johnson, Carli Johnson, Carter Ridgeway (Taylie), Hallie Ridgeway, Brett Shankles and Colby Shankles (Savannah); and his sisters, Ellen Richardson, Janette York, Charlotte McClain and Glenda Barnes. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
