She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Jackson "LJ" Watson Jr.; her son Robert Bryan Watson; her great grandchild Anna-Grace Faith Stanley; her parents, James Victor Peavy and Era Mae Peavy; her siblings, Jerry Peavy, James Peavy, Thomas Peavy, Charles Peavy, Larry Peavy and Mary Snow; and her grandmothers, Maw and Betty (Betty Pearl).
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Ryan Watson, Kevin Lee Watson and Doug Purvis (Charlotte); her brother Donnie Peavy (Donna); her grandchildren, Randon Watson, Karmen Watson, Jennifer Stanley (Robbie), Brylee Watson (Ricky) and Elizabeth Mauldin (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Robert, Raycer, Landon, Ollie, Colton, Kastyn, Lynnix, Caroline, Kenzie, Truyen, Chosyn and Ellie. She is also survived by two great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Petty Funeral Homes (9260 US-31, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
