She was predeceased by : her parents, Burl Franklin Phillips, Sr. and Faye Coon Phillips; and her brother Burl Franklin Phillips, Jr.. She is survived by : her daughters, Katherine Blackwell and Faye Temple Blackwell; and her sister Phyllis Phillips Hendrix. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
