She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wesley and Eva Payne Hughes; and her sisters, Shirley Cobb and Joyce Harrelson. She is survived by: her son Jesse Sanks (Lindsey) of Frisco City, AL; her brothers, Wesley Hughes (Wanda) of Atmore, AL and Danny Hughes (Deborah) of Rabun, AL; her grandchildren, Jameson, Eminlee and Leelan Sanks; her close friend Kay Hunter; and her niece Shauna Harrelson.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Serenity Gardens (Airport Road and, US-31, Atmore, AL 36502).
