He was predeceased by : his father James Lewis Taylor; and his sisters, Marilyn Peebles and Helen Campbell. He is survived by : his wife Doris Ruth Peacock Taylor of Atmore, AL; his daughter Karen Thomas (Tony) of Stanley Crossroads, AL; his grandson David Thomas (Rheanna); and his great grandchild William Thomas.
