It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine McGhee Daughtry (Atmore, Alabama), who passed away on September 17, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Jackson McGhee and Dan McGhee; and her siblings, Inez Daughtry and Howard Dan McGhee. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Smith of Poarch, AL, Charlotte Meckel (Martin) of Poarch, AL, Jack Allen McGhee (Charlotte) of Pensacola, FL and Douglas Charles Daughtry of Poarch, AL. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
