She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Higdon and Eula Higdon; her husband Leslie Hardy; her daughter Melanie Ann Hardy; and her siblings, William Higdon, Byron Higdon and Martha Nicholas.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Hardy (Renee), Billy Hardy (Vicki) of Atmore and Bobbie Mack of Cantonment, Florida; her daughter-in-law Shayne Johnson of Streetman, TX; her grandchildren, Ben Hardy (Jamie), Emily Branch (Clay), Robert Hardy (Lena), Jill Franklin (Bo), Kelly Benauer (Tony) and Jessi McDonald (Joseph); and her great grandchildren, Rylan Hardy, Brooks Branch, Caroline Branch, Livia Hardy, Lilian Hardy, Lyla Hardy, Lucy Hardy, Gerard Benauer, Isabella Benauer, Landon McDonald and Darby McDonald.
