With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franklin Nelson Bell of Atmore, Alabama, born in Century, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2026 at the age of 81. Though Franklin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Franklin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nelson Bell and Elvia "Inez" Bell (Knowles). He is survived by: his wife Althea Bell; and his children, Michael Bell of Texas, Jeffrey Bell (Kelley) of Flomaton, Holly Bell (Jane) of Atmore, Brian Bell (Emily) of Walnut Hill, Brent Bell of Atmore and Brooke Rolin (Coty) of Poarch, Alabama. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
