Frederick Peevy Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick Peevy Jr. of Atmore, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Peevy, Sr. and Margaret "Mot" Moore Peevy; his brother Charles Peevy; and his close friend Wallace Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Sharlett Coon Peevy; his children, Clint Peevy (Melinda) and Samantha Cooper (Matt); his sisters, Kathy Hayles (Keith) and Mary Harper (Rod); and his grandchildren, Deason Peevy, Carson Peevy (Erika), Hudson Peevy and Maxwell Ballard.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made in Fred's honor to Stockton Baptist Church's building fund.
