We announce the death of Gerald Lee Krafka (Atmore, Alabama), who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 82. Gerald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Krafka and Anastasia Krafka; his siblings, Mary Anne Thornton, Eugene Krafka, Elaine Krafka Dilley and James Krafka; and his great grandchild Amelia Belle Rolin.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Sells Krafka; his children, Laura Barrios (Noe), Rachel Suiter (Jimmy), Charles Krafka (Meghan), Katherine Maloy (Hunter) and Tiffany Bowen (Colton); and his stepchildren, Amy Gantt (Bert) and Guy Wynn. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends.
