He was predeceased by: his parents, Henison Jay and Lindy Rolin Jay; his daughters, Linda Johnson and Charlene Pugh; his grandsons, Patrick Jay and Jeremy Jay; and his son Jeffrey (Meg).
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia McCall Jay; his children, Randy Jay (Joyce), Ronnie Jay (Martha), Roger Jay, Robin Jay (Stephanie) and Sharon Stearns (Todd); his son-in-law Larry Pugh; his stepsons, Jonathan McCurdy, Christopher McCurdy and Michael McCurdy; his grandchildren, Anna, Michael, Alex, Steven, Jonathan, Josh, Jennifer, Cindy, Michelle, Amy, Lisa, Christopher, Timothy, Harlee, Riley, Jace, Ashley, Chase of Spencer, JT, Leigh Margaret, Owen, Matthew, Larry, Jr., Nicholas, Austin and Amber; and his caregivers, James Williams and Sarah Marshall. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and special thanks.
