He was predeceased by : his parents, William Joseph McMurphy, Jr. and Annie Lois Glass McMurphy. He is survived by : his daughters, Heather Deason (Brian) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Holly Brewer (Steven) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his brother William Joseph "Joe" McMurphy, III (Toni) of Atmore, AL; and his grandchildren, Hannah McMurphy, McKenzie Brewer and Anna Lois McMurphy. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
