She is survived by: her children, Sonya Charles (Mark), Angie Holt (Jed), Ashley Strickland and Danny Thomas (Amber); and her siblings, Lisa Mitchell, Cynthia Alvarez (Wes) and Pablo Melendez Jr. (Heather). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
