He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Davidson of Atmore, Alabama; his mother Evelyn McGhee Akins of Petersburg, Tennessee; his sons, Jay Davidson (Bethany) of Atmore and Kyle Davidson (Savannah) of Atmore, Alabama; his brothers, Murray Davidson of Poarch, Rowdy Davidson (Mona) of Athens and Trevar Akins of Huntsville, Alabama; his grandchildren, Wyatt Swearingen, Presley Swearingen, JD Swearingen, Blakeleigh Borders, JK Borders, Conner Seaney and Adalyn Baker; and his pets, Mingo and Freedom.
