She was predeceased by: her father Homer Smith. She is survived by: her mother Estelle Waltman Smith; her siblings, Lana Mitchell of Huxford, AL, Donna Phillips of Little River, AL, Cheryl Vickrey (Jerry) of Huxford, AL and Charles Shumpert; her close friend Alex Pate; and her nieces and nephews, Neal, Brian (Jessica), Angela (Rodney), Ashley (Cliff), Heather (Brian), Lynn and Matthew. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, and numerous family and friends.
