She was predeceased by : her parents, John Campbell and Florence Moore Agee Crane; her husband Joel Clinton Sockwell; her former life partner Hoarce Hammond Wood; and her siblings, Annie Catherine Crane Smith and John Wilson Crane.
She is survived by : her sister Florence Jeniva Crane Andrews of St. Augustine, FL; her nieces, Sheilo Smith Faircloth (Rob) of Atmore, AL, Carol Smith Richards (Joaquin) of Salem, AL and Katie Smith Morrison (Walter) of Auburn, AL; her stepchildren, Kim Leigh Sockwell and Benjamin Eric Sockwell; and her stepgrandchildren, Christopher Scott Schroeder, II (Nicole Marie) and Gemma Rose Schroeder of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by her five nieces and nephews, ten grand nieces and nephews and seven great-grand nieces and nephews.
