She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Farrar Vickery (Red) and Bonita Kirkpatrick Vickery (Bonnie); her husband Galen Charles Walker; and her sisters, Judith V. Branum and Beckey V. Shivers.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Farrar Walker (Lee) of Robinsonville, AL, Chad Alen Walker of Perry, FL and Carrie Anne Walker Turberville (Michael) of Perdido, AL; her sister Peggy V. James (John); her grandchildren, Blake Walker (Ally), Clay Walker (Carlee), Kaitlyn Walker, Ella Walker (Tate Dominguez), Avery Walker, Jessie Turberville, Samantha Turberville and Bentley Turberville; and her great grandchildren, Braiden Walker, Charleigh Walker, Reid Walker, Bryson Walker, Kaysten Walker, Blakely Walker, Olivia Palmer and Rhett Dominguez.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Atmore (310 S Main St, Atmore, AL 36502). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Atmore.
