He is survived by: his children, Tom Jeter of Atmore, AL, Randy Jeter (Brenda) of LaGrange, GA, Dianne Baggett (Robin) of Huxford, AL and Linda West (Gary) of Atmore, AL; his brother Vernon Jeter (Susan) of Bratt, FL; his sister-in-law Marcella Moring; and his grandchildren, Heather, Noah, Emma, Ava Baggett, Maranda, Raylin, Rye, Rein Lambeth, Lilly English, Brian, Russell, Aaron, David and Laura Jeter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations to be made to the Atmore Animal Shelter.
