Robert Lamar Henderson Obituary
Robert "Robbie" Lamar Henderson, age 52, of Walnut Hill, FL passed unexpectedly on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was born on October 7, 1971 in Century, FL to the late Lamar Henderson and Omar Helen Andrews Williams. He was a Radiographer Technologist with Monroe County Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Christopher Henderson.
Robbie was an amazing husband, doting father, great friend to everyone he knew. He touched the lives of so many throughout his years with his warmth, generosity and caring. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. While our hearts ache with his absence, we find solace in all the cherished memories we shared and the love that will forever remain in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Scarlett Rodrigues Henderson; his father, William "Bill" Williams; his sons, Samuel Henderson of Birmingham, AL and Nick Rieth of Walnut Hill, FL; his daughters, Emily Henderson (Caleb Therrell) of Walnut Hill, FL, Serenah Wakeman of Pensacola, FL and Naomie Lawson of Atmore, AL; his brothers, Johnny Williams (Farris Wahbeh) of New York and Danny Henderson of Robertsdale, AL; and his sister, Jeannette (Roy) Moye of Flomaton, AL.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Oak Grove, FL with Rev. Dennis Terry officiating followed by a gathering in the fellowship hall.
