He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Emmitt Russell and Clara Belle Braxton; his wife Joyce Marie McDonald; and his siblings, Willis E. Russell, Danny H. Russell, Neal Russell, Keith M. Russell and Betty Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Lynn Russell McLeod (Mack), Robyn Dale Stuart (Mike) and Rochelle Marie Pfeiffer (Todd); his grandchildren, Brad, Lance, Matthew McLeod, Jeremy, Joshua, Heather Stuart, Chadd, Alex and Alysa Pfeiffer; and his siblings, Johnny Russell and Billie Jean Mason. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (5470 County Rd 164, McDavid, FL 32568). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
