He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford A. Gibbs and Evelyn Moring Gibbs; and his sisters, Marcia Chambers, Sherry Morris and Brenda Wade.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Gibbs of Atmore, AL; his children, Steven J. Gibbs (Sandy) of Spanish Fort, AL., Stephanie Boothe (Ashley) of Fairhope, AL and Sarah Frances Thompson of Atmore, AL; and his sister Girdielene Snyder (Shine) of Mexia, AL.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
