She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Barnes and Jesse Barnes; her husband Albert Emory; her sons, Timothy Godwin (Diane) and Keith Godwin; and her siblings, Sylvester, Hollie, Henry Barnes, Sylvia Harrell, Barbara Hendricks, Opal Morris and Wyvonne Barnes.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila; and her cousins, Atha Waller (Bobby) of Bratt and Chris Boutwell of Atmore. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and numerous other family members.
