He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Day and Fannie Lemons Day. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Walden Day; his children, John Day (Doris), Melissa Smith (Lance), Nicole Gray (Tony) and Jason Day (Emily); his sister Joyce Caver; and his sister-in-law Margaret Day. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
