She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James Travis Putnam and Lula Bell Putnam; her siblings, Shirley Welch and Joan Brooks; and her pet Philip.
She is survived by: her significant other Paul Steven Smith; her children, Jonathon Paul Smith (Jeanie) and Amy Rebekah Freeman (Joshua); her grandchildren, Andrew Steven Nuss and Aubrey Lynn Freeman; her siblings, Sandy Ponder (Richard), Debra Meadows (Dan) and James Ray Putnam (Tommie); her siblings' children, Leah Loyd (Jonathan), Amanda Henry (Reggie), Brandon, Jeremy, Michael, Demetria and Jamie; her close friends, Annette Henegar Steakley and Teresa McMurray Heath; and her aunt Betty Shiflett.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Chapel (625 Gilbert Ferry Rd SE, Attalla, AL 35954). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
