He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dalton, Richard, Jimmy, Billy, Raymond, Johnny, Clark Macon and Dorothy Macon Patterson.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert and Matthew Inman; his sister Emma Louise Macon McCarter; and his niece Cindy Macon-DeLuca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
