He is survived by: his wife Judy Alldredge Scott; his sons, James L Scott II (Tommieann) and Patrick M. Scott (Mandy); his grandchildren, Hali, Paige (Johnny), Zac (Autumn), Emilee and Austin; his great grandchildren, Braylen, Abby, Parker, Lawson and Rex; his siblings, Guy Scott (Louise), Betty Harmon, Brenda Myers (Roger), Bob Scott and Michael Scott (Denise); his close friends, Phyllis Polk and Beth Stephens; his family, Tommy, Brenda, Rodney and Berta; his siblings' children, Kelly, Cassidy, Catrina, Jeff and Jesse; and his caregivers, Peyton, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Marlie and Judy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Chapel (625 Gilbert Ferry Rd SE, Attalla, AL 35954).

In lieu of flowers, a contribution to St Jude's Hospital in his name would be greatly appreciated.
