He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Garrett and H. M. Garrett; and his siblings, Eloise, Juanita, William, Paul, Talmadge and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Pat Garrett (Robin) and Kris Garrett; his grandchildren, Delanie Tillman (Tim), Jon Tyler Garrett (Brooke), Nathan Garrett, Savannah Garrett, Dalton Martin, Ethan Martin, Terri Fish (Jerry) and Ashley Fish; and his sisters, Shirley Martin (James) and Virginia Dempsey.
The family has asked that any flower donations made be with potted plants that their life may be enjoyed in months and years ahead.
