It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Kathryn Compton (Attalla, Alabama), who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Preston Compton; and her parents, Carl Randall and Jo Randall. She is survived by: her children, Anita Davis (Jeff), Mary Compton, Joseph Compton and Michael Compton (Alena). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
