He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Prowell and Judy Prowell. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Votour; his children, Ben Prowell and Katie Prowell; his brother Matt Prowell (Heather); his mother-in-law Carol Votour; his sister-in-law Susan Martin (John); his niece Emma Rose Prowell; and his nephews, Josh Martin, Dillon Martin and Jake Martin.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (446 S Gay St, Auburn, AL 36830). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Food Bank of East Alabama.
